Who we are

WD Plumbing Services was built on a solid foundation by Willem Viljoen, who is Company Director - focusing on strong customer service allowing the company to grow into the respected business it is today. We specialise in complete plumbing services for all commercial and domestic needs. WD plumbing Services can take care of anything from new housing requirements to renovations and preventative maintenance, carried out by professional and experienced personnel.

Willem Diedrick Viljoen the owner and director of WD Plumbing Services started his plumbing career in 1992 at Greenside Plumbing. Wanting to offer a more personalised and professional plumbing service than what was being offered at the time, he started working for himself as a sub-contractor for Plumlite for 5 years as a plumber.  Willem soon gained a diverse clientele from larger commercial / industrial clients to local residential and domestic plumbing customers. As time went on Willem’s business began to grow with many repeat customers as well as new referral clientele. The key to this success was Willem’s high level of customer service and his professional workmanship.

Willem Viljoen signed a contract with MS Developments for 5 years also as a sub-contractor. As Willem delivered good service and quality work, he built up his name and signed more contracts with Low Cost Housing Cosmo City for 3 years preforming contract work in plumbing. A new contract was signed in 2011 with RNA, a company with warehouses all over Johannesburg, to provide maintenance and plumbing services. In 2012 Willem Viljoen signed a contract with AFHCO Properties and Holdings. Both contracts are still on-going.  

WD Plumbing Services was registered as a company in 2016 as the owner was expanding his plumbing service and growing the company after the need for quick, reliable, and affordable plumbing services was considered necessary in the Pretoria and Johannesburg area.
